determined by the standards set by the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ayurvedanama.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">National Ayurvedic Medical Association<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The AP program is based on the second goal of Ayurveda\u2014<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aaturasya Vikara Prashamanam<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Disease Management). In this program, the education emphasis is on the disease process and Ayurvedic management of the stages of disease.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A certification of completion is awarded after the 910 hours are completed. With this certificate, graduates gain the skills and knowledge to assess the Ayurvedic constitution and imbalances in a client and suggest food, lifestyle changes and recommend Ayurvedic herbs, spices and Ayurvedic herbal supplements based on the Samprapti\/imbalances. This practice may vary by location and from state to state in the U.S. Please check your local regulations where you intend to
